Last Thursday, after months and months of waiting, it was finally time to see Dear Evan Hansen at the Paramount. I've been hearing about this show for awhile, and when it was announced last year that it was coming to Seattle I jumped at the chance to get tickets. Let me tell you - it did not disappoint. Set in the present day reality of social media overload and trying to fit in, Evan Hansen makes you laugh and cry throughout the entire show {I'm pretty sure I had tears in my eyes the entire 3 hours}, navigating through the world of adolescence and showing how a small, seemingly innocent lie can change an entire life. It truly was one of my most favorite shows I've seen and would urge anyone that has the chance to go see it - I'm already trying to figure out when I can see it again :) You will be deeply moved and thoroughly entertained and will be cheering and cringing long after the show is over. So, so good.
