Toes in the Water

It has been HOT in Seattle this past week {I know we Seattleites like to complain when it gets above 80, but without any air conditioning, the 90's is just not acceptable}.  While I thought going to an air conditioned movie theater last night sounded like the best idea ever, David convinced me it'd be even better if we instead walked down to a dock in Fremont and soaked our feet in Lake Union for awhile.  Boy was he right.  While we definitely were not the only people with this idea on this particular dock, it was perfect for people watching - and even better for houseboat dreaming.  After sufficiently cooling down, we finished the evening with dinner and beers at Brouwers.  My friends - summer is officially here :)
