I have the most amazing girlfriends who planned the sweetest, most thoughtful, and fun bachelorette party I could've ever hoped for. We had the best long weekend in Sonoma County and when it was time to say goodbye, none of us were ready to leave. Here's a peek at how we spent our fun long weekend in wine country!
we arrived super early into San Francisco {without our dear Maddie, who unfortunately had to have emergency surgery the night before the trip!}, and after picking up our car immediately headed north across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to wine country.
we stopped in Petaluma, a super cute California town, for brunch at Della Fattoria and immediately ordered seasonal mimosas to get the weekend started off right {the blood orange mimosa was fantastic}.
while waiting for food we made an instacart order so that everything would be ready at the house and we didn't have to waste time grocery shopping {such smart ladies}.
i had a yummy breakfast sandwich that definitely hit the spot after a long day of traveling...
...and we admired the cute decor of the restaurant/bakery/flower shop before heading out.
we wandered into several shops in Petaluma, including this cool eye doctor/independent artist shop in an old bank building {you can see the vault in the back} - we all agreed the building would've been perfect for a big party or wedding.
we wandered the streets with a baguette in my bag.....
....until we came across this sign and knew this was exactly the type of place we needed to go to and pick up some wine for the house.
the "table of no regrets" was where we picked up a few bottles to bring back to the house for the weekend, and the sales person was very good at helping us select the right ones for the occasion.
after shopping it was time to continue north to pick up Susannah in Santa Rosa and continue our adventure!
xoxo,
stephanie marie
