How was your weekend? Mine was pretty great, filled with equal parts relaxing at home and getting stuff done. It started out Friday night with some yoga with friends, then we headed down the street for pizza and beer {it's called balance}. I love Holy Mountain Brewery and their unique beers and bright airy space, and the new-ish Windy City Pie next door, selling delicious Chicago-style deep dish pizza, is a very happy addition. You can order a pizza to bring over to the brewery {after it's 35 minute cook time} and while you're waiting to pick it up, grab a pre-dinner brew and scope out one of the brewery's few tables for your dinner. I love when the doors are open and you can see the trains going right by, and with the sun shining in it was the perfect way to start the weekend with the girls. Oh, and that pizza? It was amazing. The cheesy crust and loaded pie {we got the "omnivore"} paired with our cold beers was just what we needed after our Friday night yoga. I'm thinking this is a new tradition I'm happy to be a part of :)
