This weekend was pretty uneventful {don't even get me started on the game} but the weather turned out decent so Sunday afternoon we decided to do a mini urban hike around Queen Anne to get some coffee at the new Cafe Hagen on the lower side of the hill. We ended up doing a 4.5 mile loop, hiking up the Comstock "Kissing Stairs" and stopping at Bhy Kracke Park which had the most gorgeous views from the Space Needle all the way to Lake Union. After grabbing coffee and a pastry, we made our way back up the hill, walking on streets new to us and finally stumbling upon the famous Queen Anne snowy owl, who refused to look at us but nonetheless was pretty awesome to see right in the city. It was a nice way to spend our Sunday getting out and enjoying some fresh air before the rains come back this week!
