I'm sorry to all the Hawks fans out there that we haven't been to a game all year, because we finally went this past Sunday and THEY WON!!! I had so been looking forward to a Sunday Night game, but since we suck and got moved to the afternoon timeslot, we decided it probably worked better anyway so that we could take advantage of the timing and walk to the stadium and back {10 miles roundtrip plus standing the whole game was quite the workout for the day!}. It was a perfect winter day with the sun shining and chilly temps - my favorite football weather! We set out early for brunch at Wakefield Bar in Belltown before making our way down to the stadium to try to cheer some life back into the team. It was a nail-biter the entire 4 quarters {like my bro said, in typical Hawks/49er's fashion} but we were able to pull out a victory in the very last seconds to once again beat the Niners {Christian's new team hat may have had something to do with it}! It was fun to be back at the stadium cheering on the Hawks and hopefully this is a sign of better things to come for this last month of the season. Let's Go Hawks!!
