New Mexico {Santa Fe Afternoon}

We arrived in Santa Fe on Saturday afternoon and after checking in to the Inn on the Alameda we immediately dropped off our bags and headed out on foot to explore the city.  It was a gorgeously sunny {but cold} afternoon and after wandering around the Old Town Plaza for a bit we decided to walk a little further to The Brakeroom at Santa Fe Brewing, a cute old house just outside of the main drag with a sunny back patio serving delicious beers that hit the spot {I wish we could find them here!}.  We sat outside, bundled up but soaking up the sun, sipping our beers and enjoying the sunset in the distance.  After beers we stopped by a cute shop next door, then made our way to a dinner spot that had a line around the block and no seats for us {so I made reservations for the next night :)}.  We wandered back to the plaza and stumbled upon El Callejon which was nothing super special but had available seats, cold margaritas, and warm plates of Mexican food which was exactly what we needed.  After dinner we walked back to our hotel for spicy margaritas by the lobby fireplace and some delicious carrot cake because, well, why not? :)

{the fall colors were amazing}
