An Afternoon in Wenatchee

As I hinted at earlier this week, we stopped in Wenatchee on our way home from Ellensburg to say hi to the brother and his family for his birthday.  We spent the day picking all the goodies from their garden, watching Jack ride his bike, watching Lily eat tomatoes, and picking out our favorite of Henry's drawings.  It was such a fun afternoon spending time with the kiddos {and their parents} and I'm so glad we took a detour to say hi!

Jack's 5th Birthday Party

Last weekend I met the parents and we headed out east to spend the day celebrating Jack's bday.  We were a little early so caught the end of the Seahawks opener in the garage with the dogs while the kiddos napped, then once they awoke it was play time!  We spent the afternoon roaming the gardens and setting up and once the rest of the family arrived the cousins had the best time hitting the piñata, opening presents, and eating some yummy chocolate cake.  I'm so glad I got to celebrate this kiddo's 5th birthday with him - we love you Jack!
