I rarely say no to a Mariners game {or getting out of work early for that matter} so when Mom got some tickets for Dad and I to go to the day game this week I happily said yes. We headed down early to the stadium where we walked around before game time, enjoying the very sparse crowds and no lines at concessions. We grabbed some burgers and beers and ate them while overlooking the bullpen as the pitchers warmed up and the game got started. When we finally made it to our awesome seats {thanks Sara & Parke!} we relaxed and watched the game, even as the roof was eventually rolled in due to possible rain later on {which never happened}. Though ultimately the M's didn't even score a run and lost to the Twins, it was such a fun afternoon with my Dad skipping out on work and enjoying a day at the ballpark.
