After dinner at the Acme we headed out for some more live music and libations at the Honky Tonks on Broadway. We started out at Tequila Cowboy, then meandered down the road to listen in at Rippy's and Lucky Bastard Saloon where we sang along to a few songs with some great bands. It's hard to describe how awesome {and overwhelming to the senses} it is to hear amazing musicians playing in every single bar with the windows open and the music at full volume as people just walk by going from one place to the next. It's a pretty cool, if a little chaotic, vibe that I've never experienced anywhere else. It was getting late and we weren't quite ready to call it a night, so mom suggested we try out the rooftop at the Bobby Hotel, just a block away from where we were staying and a few blocks off Broadway. We headed up to the almost completely empty rooftop right at last call, so we all grabbed a drink to take in gorgeous views of the city from above, enjoy a nice breeze, and finally be able to hear each other speak after hours of loud music. While it was so fun to see Nashville in action, I loved ending the night at the cutest {and quietest} rooftop with the family.
