Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!  It's been a busy week here traveling back and forth from the valley, but it was well worth it for a working breakfast on my parent's deck {while getting dive-bombed by doves and surprised by chipmunks}.  It's going to be a fun weekend filled with family and wedding celebrating and I cannot wait! Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy 65th Birthday to the sweetest, funniest, most helpful and caring dad around!  Dad - everyone who knows you is so lucky to have you as a mentor, advice-giver, joke-teller, and friend, but I am the luckiest to get to call you Dad.  I hope you have a wonderful birthday Pops - you deserve it!

Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band {Chateau St. Michelle}

We took a few years off due to the pandemic {and just not being super excited about the lineups} but Sunday evening we finally made it back to what may be my favorite concert venue, Chateau St. Michelle. Knowing we're going to have a busy summer {to say the least} we decided to pick one show that we really wanted to see for the year, and who better to see than a Beatle, right?  Christian and I headed out to Woodinville and got to the winery right as the parking lot was opening and immediately parked and grabbed our stuff to get in line.  We didn't have to wait too long in line {and luckily it wasn't as hot as it was back in 2018} and once the gates opened we immediately found great seats next to some wonderful people who became fast friends {phone numbers were exchanged by the end of the night}.  We treated ourselves to one of my favorite summer bottles of wine and the new wine cocktails {frose & peach bellinis} and settled in for a wonderful evening of drinks, picnics, music, and dancing.  For the entire 2+ hours of the show, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band played hit after hit from The Beatles, Toto, Men At Work, and much more.  We were up dancing and singing along for almost every song they played and the energy these guys displayed {Ringo is 82!} showed they aren't slowing down anytime soon.  It was such a fun evening enjoying great music and company outside and if you get a chance to go see a show there this year, definitely do it!  The best summer experience and always a wonderful time :)

Afternoon with the Nephews

After we met Miss Lily we got to spend some time with our favorite boys. We went with Shaun to pick up Jack and Henry from school and when Jack saw us he instantly ran straight into my arms - the best feeling. After showing us around school we headed over to their grandma’s house to play with the cousins before it was time for all of us to head home {with a quick stop for milkshakes on the pass of course}. It was such a fun afternoon playing with my favorite kids and I cannot wait until next time when I get to see all 3 together!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!! How is it already June?? Time is completely flying by so I’m excited for some nice weather and doing some fun summer-y things this weekend with my honey. It’s been a crazy week at work and it’s time to relax and enjoy the unofficial start of summer! Have a great one - be safe and enjoy the sunshine :)

{Introducing} Lillian Ellen

Last weekend we headed over the mountains for the most special day - getting to meet the newest member of the family, Lillian Ellen!  We are all over the moon excited to welcome Lily to the family - this little girl is going to be one tough cookie with those wild and wonderful brothers of hers, but I know she can handle them!  I drove over with Mom and Dad the day after Lily was born and we were able to visit her and her parents in the hospital when she was just over 24 hours old.  I loved getting to snuggle this little lady in my arms and I just know she is going to be an exceptional human and a wonderful addition to our growing family.  Little Lily - Auntie Tephie loves you so much and I cannot wait to watch you grow and shine!
