Playing Tourist

For the past month or so Christian's parents have been in town to help us celebrate the wedding and spend some quality time together.  His dad flew back to Europe this past weekend while his mom is staying a few extra weeks, but here are a few highlights from their trip that felt like it went by in the blink of an eye.

An Anniversary

One year engaged. 17 days married. A lifetime to go. I love doing life with you, my love.  Thanks for asking me to spend forever with you a year ago today on top of a mountain pass - easiest "yes" ever :)

Happy {Date Night} Friday!

Happy Friday! I know I owe you a lot of pics, but here are a few from our first date as husband and wife on the Monday after our wedding {also, my birthday redo from being sick the month before}. We headed to Bottlehouse for an early dinner and happy hour on the patio where we dined on yummy food, good wine, and had the patio basically to ourselves. Note to self - Monday afternoon is the best day for an easy happy hour :) Cheers!

Jack's 4th Birthday Party

Sunday morning I headed over to Wenatchee with the parents to celebrate Jack's big 4th birthday.  We got there a little early to hang with the kids before the party and it was so fun to see how excited this little guy was to be turning 4 and have his whole family there to celebrate.  I spent the day eating yummy food, watching the kids play in the yard, and watching Henry make friends with a dinosaur balloon, and I'm so thankful I was able to spend the day celebrating this kiddo.  Happy Birthday Jack - you're the best!

Happy Birthday Jack!

Happy Birthday to this FOUR year old!!  Jack - I absolutely love watching you grow into the coolest, kindest, funniest, most inquisitive little dude and into an awesome big brother to Henry and Lily.  You make everyone around you laugh and smile and watching your personality and interests really shine has been such a joy this past year.  Auntie Tephie loves you so much and I'm so happy I got to celebrate you this past weekend - you really are so easy to celebrate, little Bubs!  Happy Birthday Jack - I can't believe you're FOUR!!

Married

We’re married!!!  It still feels crazy to say “my husband” but I absolutely love it and am still on that newlywed high. There’s so much to share that I don’t even know where to begin so I’ll leave you with this pic from Erika that I love of my husband and me walking from the ceremony to the reception at the most beautiful and perfect venue I could’ve ever asked for. Truly the most special day ever. Cheers!!
