Yesterday we had our first official snow day of the season, and man was it cold! I didn't feel bad about not getting outside - with the wind whipping {I was awoken multiple times throughout the night thinking someone was banging on my screen door, when in fact it was just the angry wind} and the temps hovering in the mid-20's all day, I was happy to be working from my couch in my sweatpants with cups of tea and homemade chili {that I had thankfully made the night before}. I did venture out very briefly to snap a few pics, but the kids across the street that spent most of the day running around in the yard building frozen snowmen and "enjoying" the below freezing temps are insane ;)
