We headed up north on Sunday for an impromptu Mother's Day BBQ out at the beach cabin with grandma and grandpa. It was a beautiful {though windy} day out at the cabin and felt weird but so nice to be able to congregate with my fully vaccinated parents and grandparents and not have to worry. After a huge lunch, we headed back in to the farm to sit out in the sunshine for a bit {which almost was too hot!} and let Nina rest her legs after the excitement of the beach before heading back to the city for the start of the work week. I love heading up north even for quick visits and am even more excited now that we're on the road to some sort of normalcy!
