4th of July {Part I}

I interrupt our Europe trip to bring you pictures from one of my favorite days of the year - 4th of July!  The day started out grey and cloudy but ended up being so perfect out on the island with the sun coming out and just a slight breeze to keep us cool.  Christian and I headed up to the island in the morning with some newbies {Miriam & Michael} to show them what small town 4th of July is all about, and this year did not disappoint.  The day progressed as it usually does - everyone showing up around noon, eating dad's famous oyster nachos, then watching the parade while helping the kids fill their candy bags - and with a smaller crowd this year it was relaxed and cozy and easy to spend time chillin' with Linnea and the fam and introducing new friends to this awesome show.  You can see why it's my absolute fave :)
