After the parade we gathered around for some singing, eating, and lots of way too loud fireworks {as seen by Linnea's reaction above - priceless}. With a small group of friends this year, we spent most of our time catching up, sorting candy, and hunting baby crabs in the rocks. When it was time to finally head back home to Nina, I drove a very sleepy but very happy group back to the city {Miriam and Michael said it was the best 4th they've ever had!} and we got back in time to sit on the rooftop with a glass of wine and take in the fireworks across Elliott Bay with Nina. All in all, it was a wonderful 4th with some of my most favorite people. Can't wait for next year!
