Cantinetta

Last night I took Erika out to Cantinettta for a belated birthday dinner.  I was so happy she chose this place, since I've been wanting to go for literally years.  The quaint restaurant located in the middle of a Wallingford neighborhood exceed both of our expectations.  The service was great {I'm pretty sure our waitress described in detail at least half of the bottles of wine on the menu}, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food - well, the food was amazing.  We shared both the sweet potato gnocchi and the pappardelle bolognese, and we devoured both in minutes.  It was a lovely night hanging out with my bestie, drinking good wine and eating good food.  My favorite kind of night :)
