Peddler Brewing

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was an impromptu trip to Peddler Brewing Company with Erika & Linnea.  Sunday was the perfect afternoon to sit outside with a sampler of all of their beers {to share, of course} and watch Linnea run around in the sun, making friends and being the cutest.  She's taken a liking to her Auntie Stephie and even indulges me in a selfie or two {with a big "cheese" like above} while pointing at which beers I should drink next.  She even showed up in the birthday dress I bought her last year, and I can't even stand how cute she is.  After the brewery, we headed back for a bbq with Joe where Linnea proceeded to take me on a tour of the birdhouses in her yard and show me her new water table.  I can't believe this little one is going to be 2 in just a few short weeks, and if this age is any indication, I can't wait to see what the next year will bring!

Murder for Two

Saturday afternoon, on the most gorgeous day we've had all year, Mom & I headed downtown to see Murder for Two at the ACT theater.  Neither of us knew what to expect and had fairly low expectations, but for the entire almost two hours neither of us could stop laughing at the hilarious and extremely talented actors.  The show is put on by just two men who play all the parts by changing voices and a few props, and both play the piano in the middle of the stage for the amazing and fitting musical numbers throughout the show.  I was dying laughing at the all too familiar story of whodunit and this unique take on musical theater.  If you get a chance to go, I'd highly recommend it - it's definitely one of the best we've seen in a long time.  Sometimes these shows can still surprise me :)

Shaun & Sara {Reception}

After the gorgeous wedding, we got down to the serious business - the party.  The weather was absolutely perfect for the reception - no need for a jacket until the sun went down - and the food was one of the best meals I've had in a long time.  It was so fun to catch up with all of the family and family friends that were there to share the special day - some I hadn't seen in so many years but have been huge parts of my life since I was little.  The speeches were perfect {definitely the best best man speech I've heard} and with a little help from our suggestions, the dj got the dance party going to everyone's satisfaction {Regulators was top in my opinion}.  At the end of the night, we all gathered around the campfire in front of our rooms to chat and have a few more drinks, and in the morning we all came back together for some breakfast snacks in the lawn before having to head home.  It really was such a magical weekend and even though I'm sad it's over, I'm so happy everything went smoothly and now our family is even bigger.  Shaun & Sara - I love you guys!  Congrats!

Shaun & Sara {Gettin' Married}

Shaun & Sara's wedding was absolutely breathtaking.  The Mazama Ranch House offered the perfect place to take pictures - the barn was festive, the mountains didn't even look real, and everywhere you looked were open fields making for a gorgeous backdrop.  I can't wait to see the professional photos taken by my dear friend, but until then here are a few snaps I took while we were getting ready and looking our best :)

Shaun & Sara {Wedding Day Prep & Details}

Saturday morning we woke up to the most gorgeous day any of us could've hoped for.  I was awake before practically anyone, so I sat out on our cute patios sipping my coffee and anxiously awaiting the day's festivities.  Once everyone got up and going {it took a lot for the boys after the late night before} we started off on each of our tasks, mine being helping set up the seating and the pergola in the field, along with the beautiful signs Autumn had made for the event.  You forget all the little details that go into the big day, but the little touches make it that much more special when they're all put together :)
