Saturday morning the sun was shining so we decided to head out on our first urban hike in quite awhile {between foot issues, travel, and being sick, we've been homebound a lot!}. We headed down through SPU which was looking beautiful for graduation, then walked along the canal and across the Fremont Bridge towards Gas Works Park, which I rarely go to but has some of the best views in the city. We wandered around a bit and saw the cutest little family of geese floating along together on the lake, then made our way back to Fremont where we stopped for a much deserved beer at Fremont Brewing {where we ran into David & Ed!} before making our way back up the hill towards home. It was a perfect day out and about in the city making me very excited for the summer ahead!
