Thinking about how it’s been 6 whole years since the start of the pandemic and how much has changed since then {and how much has stayed the same}. I’m still working from home, but from a different home than I started with and at a different job. I’m still with the same great man, but now we’re married and growing our family any day now. I’ve lost touch with old friends, but have reconnected with others, and I’ve gotten waaaayyy too comfortable in loungewear {even though I still love clothes and fashion}. What a strange time we’ve lived through - I remember how all consuming illness seemed to be at the time, and now we can go days or weeks without thinking about getting sick {though new cases of measles are popping up everywhere - do people not learn?}. It’s interesting to me to think back on that time - it’s like there’s a before and an after and a very long “in it”, and we’re all changed forever, whether for good or for bad {but I’d argue the sweatpants are a definite good:) }. A strange, strange time indeed.
