Mother's Day with Mom

Friday morning Mom came down for our annual shopping trip to Bellevue.  We started out with lunch outside at Ivar's {it felt like summer!} before heading over to the eastside to do some shopping.  While we went to so many stores and tried on so many things, we left almost empty handed {except for a late night trip to Gap for me} but it was still so fun to walk around and just hang out.  For dinner we stopped in at Cantinetta and it was the perfect meal filled with pasta and lots of laughs to break up the shopping.  Afterwards we went to Molly Moons for a small scoop of strawberry shortcake ice cream before more shopping and then a night at the Westin.  Saturday morning we headed to the mall one last time before a quick trip to Target and heading back over the lake to all of the traffic in Seattle.  It was a fun weekend that I look forward to every year, and so happy it landed on Mother's pool Day weekend this year so I got to celebrate my favorite mama!
