Family Baby Shower

A few weeks back I was spoiled with such a thoughtful and fun family baby shower in the Valley. Gretchen, Mary, and Jill hosted a sweet Swedish themed shower for Baby and me full of Swedish fish, a Swedish baby quiz, and a gorgeous balloon arch decorating the room. I was surrounded by so many family members and family friends and it was so fun getting to catch up with everyone and be showered with all the necessities for baby. It was such a great day that made me feel so special and loved :)

Christmas Again

For Christmas Eve and Christmas, we headed back to the valley to spend time with the rest of the family. I didn’t take too many pictures but we had a nice time having Christmas Eve dinner at the parents then opening our presents just the 4 of us {so we could sleep in a little on Christmas}. In the morning we had breakfast at Grandma’s like always, which C unfortunately missed since he was getting a cold, then headed back to the city for work the next day. It was a quiet and cozy Christmas and went by way too fast.

Just Married {Hadley & Luis}

This past weekend we headed out to Ellensburg to celebrate the marriage of Hadley & Luis.  Officially they got married last week in a private elopement but they wanted to celebrate with all of their nearest and dearest a few days after so we happily drove over for a chance to see family and get out of the city.  The reception had so many thoughtful touches, from a "newspaper" celebrating their marriage, little bags of His & Hers favorite candies, photos all over, and touching tributes to loved ones lost.  We had yummy bbq for dinner and Christian and I snuck away to play yard games with the kiddos outside for a bit, and once the dancefloor started getting going we decided it was time to make our exit and enjoy the sunset from our hotel rooftop.  It was a beautiful weekend celebrating these two lovebirds and I'm so happy we were able to be there with them!

Showering Hadley

Sunday afternoon Mom, Mary, and I threw a bridal shower for cousin Hadley at the farm.  Mom & I decorated everything in a cute lemon theme and once everyone arrived we had a very chill shower opening presents and eating yummy desserts.  It was a fun way to celebrate the soon to be Mrs. and I'm glad I got to spend the afternoon with all of the ladies in the family!
