Urban Hiking {Downtown}

Saturday afternoon we had no real plans, and when the weather forecast suddenly changed to reveal no rain and sunny skies we decided it was the perfect opportunity to resurrect our urban hikes.  We headed downtown from the top of Queen Anne, walking through the lower part of the hill and Belltown before grabbing a cheap lunch at one of our faves, El Borracho in the Market.  We debated whether or not to head to the Flower and Garden show, but since the sun was shining {and with the threat of coronavirus and being told to stay away from crowds} we decided instead to stay outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.  We made our way through Seattle Center before stopping in at The Masonry for happy hour drinks to fuel our walk back up the hill.  We took the very steep but quick way up, heading straight up Queen Anne Ave, and though I felt a bit like I was going to pass out several times we were rewarded with a gorgeous sunset following us up the hill.  It was the perfect way to spend our extra day of the year!
