It's been almost a year since I gave you our latest and greatest shows, and even though spring should be just around the corner and quarantine is long over, there are still plenty of cold cozy nights to snuggle up and watch some of these favorites. We're running through these probably a bit too fast, but when the show is good it's hard to stop! Here are a few current faves to get you through these last {hopefully} days of winter.
The Bear - the innerworkings of a Chicago restaurant headed by a star chef, this show will have you hungry, appreciating the people that make your food, and yelling "Yes, Chef!" anytime you're in the kitchen. I love the characters and the setting and cannot wait for Season 2.
Full Swing - We finished this inside look at the PGA tour last night and if you haven’t watched this yet, stop what you’re doing and watch it. It’s exciting, compelling, and has you rooting for the underdogs and good guys throughout all 8 episodes. It’s so fun to watch and really makes me want to get out on the course asap.
The Sex Lives of College Girls - I absolutely fell in love with this show about 4 freshmen in college, each from different backgrounds and experiences, coming together to find themselves. Heartwarming, feel-good, and hilarious, this one is a definite fave of the bunch.
You - the first few episodes of this Netflix "thriller" are too cheesy and unbelievable, but it sucks you in and after 4 seasons {the second part of season 4 comes out next week} I am thoroughly invested in Joe Goldberg and the sticky situations he gets himself into. And his internal commentary is the absolute best.
Only Murders in the Building - this one has something for everyone and is a fun, quirky look at unlikely friends coming together to solve crimes in their building. Season 3 is looking to be epic with the casting spoilers I've seen, but do not sleep on the first two seasons!
The White Lotus - while season 1 was great, season 2 is even better and not to be missed. Set in Italy, it will have you dreaming of aperol spritzes, pristine blue waters, and the fanciest hotel with the craziest guests and staff. The characters are absurd, dark, and wonderful and I'm already wondering how they're going to top this one with anther season.
xoxo,
