San Francisco {Brunch & Blue Bottle}
On our last day in San Francisco, we started the day out with what we do best - walking to brunch. The day before we had walked down Fillmore Street, and even though at that point I could barely feel my feet, I did remember it being such a cute street filled with tons of shopping and restaurants that looked fun. After a bit of research, we set our sights on the Grove on Fillmore {our main criteria was breakfast burritos} and set out on our way. Since it was our last day of vacation, I couldn't resist a mimosa with my ranchero baked eggs and Christian devoured his breakfast burrito while we shared a warm cinnamon roll bread pudding {yes, it was as good as it sounds}. After brunch, we walked around the shops a bit and stumbled upon San Francisco's own Blue Bottle Coffee so we stopped in and grabbed a cup of pour over to go. We continued our walk around the neighborhood and found a park overlooking the city, where we sat on a bench overlooking the city, drank our coffee, and soaked up the California sun. Afterwards, we slowly made our way back to the hotel, but since we were a bit early we stopped off at the bar next door for a leisurely glass of wine before heading back to the airport for our flight home. It was such a fun and perfect first vacation together and I cannot wait to go explore so much more of this world with this guy :)
Take me back! :)
xoxo,
