When we arrived in San Francisco Friday afternoon we immediately took the BART to our hotel in Nob Hill to quickly change before getting out in the sunshine and exploring the city. We were starving so grabbed a quick bite nearby before going for a pretty walk on our way downtown. With the sun shining and the steep hills, we took off our jackets and wandered the city pretending it was spring. We made our way to The View Lounge on the 39th floor of the Marriott Marqius in time for some drinks to take in the amazing views of the city and a spectacular sunset that kept getting better and better as the night went on. Our awesome waitress even scored us a table right by the window as the sun was turning a bright red and orange and we sat in our little corner of the bar taking in the views and sipping on some gin and tonics. It was a perfect first night in San Francisco and we couldn't wait to see what else the city had in store for us.
