Our New Year's Eve was super low key and totally perfect, starting with the most gorgeous sunset {seen above} that turned the whole sky hot pink. We took Nina for her last walkie of 2018 and decided to check out the scene at Kerry Park looking out at the Space Needle {which at 5pm was already packed with people waiting for midnight}. We went back to Christian's, where he had made a trip to Total Wine and stocked up on cocktail fixin's so he could play bartender for the evening, using some of our favorite cocktails we've tried at local restaurants as inspiration. We had a late dinner {more on that later}, an awesome dance party in the kitchen, and started a new show before bundling up and heading up the hill to watch the fireworks. We knew the park was going to be insane, so we walked a few blocks down where we had a fairly empty street and a perfect view of the needle. Once the fireworks started we popped our mini bottles of champagne and the people next to us turned their car radio on full blast so we could listen along to the soundtrack of the show. After a gorgeous show, we sleepily walked ourselves back home where we toasted with Nina to a wonderful 2018 and an even better 2019. It was the perfect way to celebrate the new year :)
