"Feather Boa" donut
While listening to President Obama's State of the Union address last night, I couldn't help but be inspired. While the subjects were broad (innovation, education, economics), the message was clear - if we work together, our future can be as bright as we dream it to be. It reminded me of the President's last trip to Seattle, where he visited Top Pot Donuts and drove his motorcade right by my work (while I stood outside with coworkers, waving and cheering). Yesterday, while celebrating our first day in a new office building, my coworkers and I were greeted with the same donuts that the President enjoyed when he was here. It was a thoughtful gesture from our administrators, and (I think) a secret nod to the speech later that evening.
